PROJECT OVERVIEW:
- The Welgedacht Sewer Purification plant was a complicated project due to the stringent technical specifications.
- The project was a joint venture between four contractors. The co-ordination between these parties was an achievement.
- In spite of these challenges, the project came in under-budget and on schedule.
- Engkon took away several learnings from this project – In particular, the need to be flexible to change to client needs; and the co-ordination and cooperation required for success.
