PROJECT OVERVIEW:
- New Road substation is one of few indoor substations.
- This project required high precision concrete work with low tolerances.
- The final product is an aesthetically pleasing way of accommodating a substation.
- Engkon took away several learnings from this project – In particular, the need for a back-up for tolerances; accurate quality control checks; and teamwork on complicated projects such as this one
